OTR Truck & Trailer Repair is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our professional service team. As a critical member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. From routine preventative maintenance and tire services to complex engine diagnostics and roadside assistance, your work will ensure the safety and reliability of the vehicles that power the logistics industry. Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in diesel engine diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivetrain repairs.
- Service Proficiency: Skilled in performing rapid tire changes, tire repairs, and comprehensive engine overhauls.
- Diagnostic Skills: Ability to utilize advanced diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Safety Standards: Strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and industry safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Professionalism: Strong attention to detail, a clean driving record, and the ability to work effectively in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
- Credentials: A valid driver’s license is required; a CDL and ASE certifications are highly preferred.
- Tools: Candidates must possess a personal set of basic professional tools.
